The Museum of Ventura County’s collections of art, artifacts, documents
and photographs represent a comprehensive record of life in the region
from prehistory to the present. The collections are fully catalogued
and are curated by trained Museum staff. A must see on the list of
Ventura museums.

This small but informative center is one of the lesser known Ventura
museums. It features a living tide
pool, island models and educational films where you and your children
can learn about the ancient history of these majestic islands and the
approximately 145 unique species, found nowhere else in the world, that
call these islands home.

The main house for the Rancho San Miguel was one of the few two-story
haciendas in Southern California and one of the most impressive homes
in the Santa Clara River Valley. The Olivas Adobe has stood the test of
time and is now a
museum where
you can get a glimpse of the Ranchero life. As a special treat, the museum puts on a special
candlelight tour every Christmas.

includes a replica of the Oval Office; a Berlin Wall exhibit and a
