The Museum will be celebrating its centennial throughout 2013 with birthday-inspired exhibitions and events. Rotating exhibits include works by local photographers, artwork created by Ventura County residents or inspired by Ventura County locations, and historical artifacts from the region. The Museum also hosts gallery talks featuring curators and artists. The first Sunday of the month is free to the general public. Admission: $4 adults, $3 seniors, $1 children (ages 6-17)

This small but informative center is one of the lesser known Ventura museums. The main house for the Rancho San Miguel was one of the few two-story haciendas in Southern California and one of the most impressive homes in the Santa Clara River Valley. The Olivas Adobe has stood the test of time and is now a museum where you can get a glimpse of the Ranchero life.  As a special treat, the museum puts on a special candlelight tour every Christmas.

Perched atop a picturesque bluff overlooking Simi Valley, the museum includes a replica of the Oval Office; a Berlin Wall exhibit and a chance to climb aboard the impressive Air Force One which served seven U.S. presidents.
