Surfers Knoll

Ventura Harbor Village, Spinnaker Drive

Harbor’s cove is a long stretch of one of Ventura’s most natural beaches. This is not a safe swimming beach, since riptides are common here. However, this is the best Surfers Knoll Beachbeach to work on your tan without the crowds

At the far end of the beach, where the mouth of the Santa Clara River empties into the Pacific, you'll find a natural bird estuary teaming with Pelicans, Egrets, and other species.

Personally, this is my favorite beach for its natural sand dunes and “away from it all” appeal. It’s my pick for a long run or quiet walk.

I love the way the beach landscape changes almost daily from the constant battle between the tide and river current at the mouth of the Santa Clara so I come back often.
