skating rink east of town.

We used to go rollerskating at a rink out past Ventura College in the 1950's. Can't remember the name, but it was the only one in town after the one downtown was demolished.

Comments for skating rink east of town.

Skateland, and it was right next door to Fosters Freeze where, after skating for hours, you could get corn burritos for 10 cents each or 12 for a dollar!!!

by: Nick

Foster freeze was on Main Street across from VHS. Then it moved to telegraph rd. Coca Cola plant used to be on the corner of Thompson and seaward ave. Had big glass windows you could see all,the glass bottles being washed and filled. Tony’s pizza was on Figueroa st. Merls drive in at 5 points.
