Views from Grant Park

Hands down, Grant Park provides the very best panoramic view of the great Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands, Pier, and Downtown Ventura below.

On a nice sunny day, enjoy a serene picnic lunch under a large shady tree as you gaze out at the neighboring hills on your right and the sailboats gliding by on your left.

Make this a stop during an after dinner walk or bike ride to catch a spectacular sunset.

Where the Ventura River Trail meets the Pacific Ocean

Whether you get here by walking, jogging or biking, this is the ultimate rest stop.

Besides the beautiful estuary and it's wildlife, the view includes sailboats and kite surfers in the great Pacific, and the coastal foothills. Bring your worries and leave them here.
