HISTORIC DOWNTOWN VENTURA TO GET ITS FIRST WINERY

Labyrinth Winery’s tasting room opened its doors May 1, 2013. Labyrinth, a member of the Ventura County Wine Trail, is the first winery to open in Ventura’s downtown historic district. This soft opening served to introduce Labyrinth to the community and to fine tune procedures. A grand opening date will be determined.

Like other wineries, we offer our wines in tasting flights, by the glass, and by the bottle. Wine related merchandise will be for sale and we will soon offer wine-related educational symposiums (we call them symposiums because in Ancient Greek, symposium is literally: sym = together, pos = Drink, ium = a place... or place we drink together). Additionally, various parties and wine club activities will scheduled and the tasting room will be available for private events.

Labrynth Winery "Wine can be intimidating to novices" said Ed Schwartz, Co-Owner. "It's our job to educate customers in a fun and relaxed manner so they'll enjoy the wine more. That's why we use the word symposiums and not classes". Please drop by to say hello, taste our wines and provide feedback on your experience. We constantly look to improve and to offer the residents of Ventura County a wonderful wine related experience.

If you’d like more information about Labyrinth or to schedule an interview, please call Ed Schwartz at 805-585-2238 or e-mail Ed at Info@LabyrinthWine.com

Cheers!
