This cozy seaside Inn is located in Seaward Village, an authentic California beach neighborhood, conveniently located between the Ventura Harbor Village and historic downtown. Each room features romantic French and Italian décor and a gas fireplace.

But the best feature of this inn is the view outside your room. Inn on the Beach is the only hotel that offers direct beach-front access and why it's one of our favorites. The sand dunes limited our view from the 1st floor, so be sure to ask for a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Each room has a private balcony, where you can gaze out across the endless Pacific Ocean, watch sailboats drift calmly by, and if you’re lucky, dolphins making their way up and down the coast.


The Inn serves a continental breakfast or if you prefer, follow the aroma across the street to Full of Beans for a better selection of coffees, juices and pastries. For lunch or dinner, two local favorites - Cappelletti Trattoria and Joannafina's are right across the street from the Inn.
