DOWNTOWN
Bella Maggiore Inn
Duly recognized as one of “the Best of the West” for small inns,
the Bella Maggiore sets the stage for your romantic getaway with “old
world” flair. The charming and European-esque décor create a cozy
atmosphere throughout the Inn. On cold days, the large hearth in the
lobby invites you to snuggle up by the fire...

HARBOR VILLAGE
Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites at Ventura Harbor
Take the first right from the entrance of Harbor Village to find
The Holiday Inn Express. The only hotel with a “close up” view of the
Ventura Harbor. The suites on the 1st floor offer the most dramatic
view with floor-to-ceiling windows. A continental breakfast is served
each morning. Pool, hot tub and tennis courts are accessible via a
connection bridge to the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. The location,
ample amenities and the reasonable rates (even for the suites) make
this hotel our top pick for a harbor getaway. A walking and bike path
connects this hotel to the village (a good starting point for a scenic
bike ride up the coast).
Four Points Sheraton
A good choice if you are planning to stay a week or longer since
this hotel offers laundry facilities, a gym, pool and hot tub. Some
rooms overlook the harbor, though you have to see past the parking lot
first. Alexander’s Restaurant and Lounge is located on the first floor
and their Sunday Brunch brings out the locals. Considering the
amenities and location, their rates are reasonable. From here you can
also catch the
shuttle
to downtown Ventura.
Boatel B&B on the Water
Looking for something out of the ordinary? Why not retreat on one
of California’s few dockside bed & breakfasts! The B&B
offers
three options. The Villita, a classic 1936 gem, takes you back to the
days of old Hollywood. The Dragon Lady, an authentic Hong Kong Pirate
Junk boat, makes a fun family choice. Two-Tenths, a no-frills option,
is the perfect choice for those departing early on fishing, diving or
island excursions. The rates include a $25.00 breakfast certificate at
the Harbor’s La Petite Cafe and a free evening beverage. Bon Voyage!
MIDTOWN COAST

Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this 77-room craftsman-style Inn is
a haven for those seeking a romantic beachside retreat or something
with a few more luxurious amenities than your average chain hotel. The
historic Pierpont Inn is the oldest of all the hotels in Ventura and
