Harbors Cove Beach
Ventura Harbor Village, Spinnaker Drive
Safest beach for families with small children.
The
harbor jetties
create mild waves in this small bay. With the harbor village right
across the roadway, this is a fun

area to spend the day.
Facilities
include bathrooms and outdoor shower. There is also a life guard on
hand during the weekend end and summer months.
The jetty rocks are fun
to explore and sometimes you can see octopus hiding in their shadows.
But take caution! The rocks are slippery when wet so children should
not go unattended.
Getting There: From North U.S. 101, exit
Victoria Ave. Turn left off the freeway and right at Olivas Park Drive
and follow into Ventura Harbor Village, which will put you onto
Spinnaker Dr. The beach is near the end of the road on the left, across
from the Channel Islands Visitor Center. From the South U.S. 101, exit
Victoria, turn right. Turn right at Olivas Park Drive and follow
directions above.
