Foster hospital
by: Bill

My younger brother was born there in Aug. 1957. Can't help but wonder about malpractice. Before long, I wanted the folks to take him back where they got him, but Foster wouldn't accept him.

Grew up across the street.
by: Kathy

I grew up on the corner across the street. My parents owned Klemm's Loma Vista Market directly across the street from the hospital so I saw it every day from 1945 till 1962 when the store and attached house was demolished. My Dad said he helped to build Foster Hospital as a young man and he was the very first patient in the new CMH.

I'm related to the Fosters

My Grandfather was B. Foster, his Uncle donated the land/money to build Foster Memorial Hospital. I was born there in 1953.
