Vote for your favorite art pieces
by local school children

Two local Ventura County businesses invited kids to be part of the 2nd annual Ventura County Student Art Contest. This contest was started last year by Service Master by TA Russell, in conjunction with the Ventura Chambers Arts in the Park Festival. Last year there were some amazing entries and over $1,500 was donated to the art programs of three local schools. This year there were over 162 submissions from students in Ventura county between grades 1st through 12th.

All residents of Ventura County are encouraged to go to www.ventrastudentart.com and place their votes for their favorite pieces. You can vote for each art piece by rating it from 1 star to 5 stars. The more stars means the more you like it. The collective results are stored automatically and the art with the highest ratings will be the winners. The schools of the winning students will receive financial donations to their art program and the 1st through 3rd place students will receive prizes compliments of the Pacific View Mall.

The art work is also displayed at the Pacific View Mall in the center section of the upper level throughout the summer.

You can go see the art work in person and then go online to vote. Please help support our local kids and the art programs of our local schools by voting at www.venturastudentart.com.
