Age of E.P. Foster School
by: Anonymous

It is still open. And it looks the same as it did in 1942 when I attended as a Kindergarten student.
I would like to know when it was built. 75 years is a long time for a school to still be in use.
My appreciation for the care that has been taken of the school. Date commented 10/22/17

E.P. Foster NEW

I went there. Mrs. Mortenson was my kndergarten teacher, and Mrs. Quigg was my first grade teacher. Mrs. Scmidt was my second grade teacher, and Mrs. Robinson was my third grade teacher. Mrs. Shattuck was the principal. President Kennedy was assassinated when I was in first grade. I will never forget Mrs. Quigg briefly leaving the room, then returning, turning off the classroom lights, asking us to put our heads down on our desks, and telling us that the president had been killed.

I went to that school in the late-40s. My sister also went there....Becky. It was a good school. I was third grade marble champion there...still have the certificate...lol. Fun years.
